Ann Veronica James (Paskin) always had kind words for anyone. Her love spanned across the entire family near or far.

She really liked to keep everything simple in terms of living life and how to speak to each other.

Ann’s mother, Kathleen Paskin was a fantastic lady, had a loving and giving nature which is a trait Ann inherited. Her words were to encourage & find happiness every day

In 1963, Ann met her beloved husband Charles in Birmingham, England. From then on, they were inseparable. It was obvious their love for each other was meant to be.

They married in 1966 and soon after, opened a small general convenience shop in Birmingham England. The business took off right away and they worked extremely hard - 16 hrs a day, every day, except Sundays.

In 1968, Ann and Charles made the leap and emigrated to Canada where they first moved to Thompson MB.

In 1970 they moved to Calgary AB and were soon joined by their son Nick Paskin in 1972.

Ann and Charles stayed in Calgary until 1975 and then moved to Vancouver BC. This is where they put down stakes and made their permanent home.

They both got jobs at the Vancouver General Hospital and worked there until they retired. They loved their home on Garden drive and kept a beautiful garden.

During these years they made many close friends. They loved bowling, golf, and traveling. It was obvious Ann and Charles were never leaving their home, no matter what life threw at them.

Ann was not ready to leave us and all the family will forever miss her.

Ann was predeceased by her brothers Ken Paskin, Derek Paskin, Jim Paskin, and sister Kathleen (Kath) Elcock.
