Rev. Alice Hogman died at the Evergreen Care Home in North Vancouver on May 6, 2010.  Ordained in 1948 in The United Church of Canada, Alice was a pioneer in the ministry of women.  She served pastoral charges in Manitoba, Trinidad, and Northwestern Ontario.  She was an extraordinary woman of spirit and vision and her husband, Bill, and children, Susan (Adrian), John (Michelle) and Kathy (Armand), will miss her dearly.  She adored her grandchildren, Michael, David, Rachel (James), Paul (Leigh) and Sarah.  We treasure her legacy of love and compassion.  A Memorial Service will be held at Highlands United Church, North Vancouver on Friday, May 14th at 10 am.  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Mission and Service Fund of The United Church of Canada.
