It is with great sadness we announce the unexpected passing of Adolfo Acuña Nerpio. Survived by his wife, Dalisay (Daisy) Nerpio; children, Rigor (Georgina), Adolfo Jr (Lisa), Dennis (Jennie), Fred (Tiffany), Lara (John); grandchildren, Chelsea, Justin, PK, Braedon, Audessa, Ayden, Bryant, Anderson and Joshua; and extended family in the Philippines and throughout the world.
Addi was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and friend always available with his skilled hands and creative solutions to fix anything. He loved his family deeply and as the official family photographer would crack out the tripod and timer to take group photos to preserve the memories.
For more than 25 years Addi worked for BC Hydro/Transit (Oakridge) in the Tire Shop as a technician.
Addi was a proud member of the Harley Owners’ Group (HOG) to the very end with many fond memories of rides to Sturgis, the Milwaukee 100-year Ride as well as through Canada and California on his Harley. His beloved wife Daisy was his travel companion on Harley rides and throughout the world exploring new places and countries.
Services will be held at St. Joseph the Worker Parish at 4451 Williams Road, Richmond, BC. Viewing will be Thursday, March 16 at 6:00 p.m. and a Funeral Mass will be Friday, March 17 at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow each service.
