Adeline Lai (nee Chung)  Adeline passed away on Friday August 7th 2009 surrounded by her family.  She will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her youngest son Norman and his  wife Cecilia, her oldest boy Ray and his companion Andrée, her granddaughters Amanda  and Alicia, her brothers and sisters - Frances, Loretta (Don), Peter (Yvonne), Anthony  (May) and Gabriella (Tony), her many nieces and nephews and by her many many friends.  We wish to express our heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Richmond Hospital and in  particular the Palliative Care Unit for their invaluable care and support.  Visitation and prayers for family and friends will be held at 7pm on Thursday August 13th  at the Columbia-Bowell Funeral Chapel (219 6th Street, New Westminster).  Funeral service will be held at 10am, Friday August 14th at Saint Francis Xavier Church  (428 Great Northern Way, Vancouver).  In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations towards the Canadian Blood Services. A  donation box will be present at the visitation and at the funeral service.
