Adam Kwan, 38, passed away on June 6, 2023.

Adam spent his early years in Port Coquitlam, B.C., where he developed a deep passion for sports, specifically hockey and lacrosse. He excelled athletically, earning a reputation as a tenacious competitor who never backed down from a challenge. Adam found solace in his fandom (Lakers, Yankees, Dodgers), regularly travelling to Los Angeles and New York to cheer on his teams.

Adam was clever, perceptive, and quick-witted, a combination that helped him excel academically, including a degree from the University of British Columbia. Sometimes he was too clever for his own good, landing himself in precarious positions that he inevitably found his way out of.

Adam had a complex nature that often made his relationships challenging, but he always found ways to make people feel special, including coaching youth sports, dropping in for an unexpected visit, or an inappropriate, but perfectly-timed joke.

Adam's Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Monday, June 26, 2023, at Our Lady of Sorrows Church 525 South Slocan Street in Vancouver, BC.

Adam will be dearly missed by friends and family, but not soon forgotten.
