DUNNE, Mary Yvonne (Maryvonne) (Nee Boyle), born September 17, 1934 in Granum, Alberta, passed peacefully surrounded by love on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 2:15pm. She was predeceased by her husband Kevin Patrick (1997) and her son Michael (1982). She is survived by her sons Patrick (Sande) of Calgary and Terry (Abe) of Hong Kong and her daughters Rosemary (Marilyn) of New Westminster, Maureen (Gerald) of Victoria and Mary Beth (Michael) of New Westminster. She is also survived by her eleven cherished grandchildren: Annabella, Jack, Sam, Leo, Lily, Maddie, Juliet, Mary, Michael, Auggie, and Amara. She is also survived by a cherished niece, Kay Jackson (Brian) of Washington State, the daughter of her late Brother, artist, Neil Boyle (2006). Maryvonne and Kevin raised their family with an astonishing example of unconditional love, grace, and acceptance. She was an elementary school teacher before raising her family, and volunteered wherever she could contribute, including most recently at Royal Columbian Hospital in the gift shop. She enjoyed a wonderful decade of entrepreneurship and adventure with Kevin running the Port Vancouver Shop at Canada Place. Her faith sustained her through all life brought her, and she responded to every challenge with determination and grace. Her last days were spent in the care of the team at Broadway Lodge in Vancouver. Our family extends the deepest of gratitude for the depth of care provided to her – especially Nikki and Josephine and the team who loved her through her last hours. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Catholic Church at 330 Royal Avenue, New Westminster at 10:30am on Saturday, November 17th. In lieu of flowers we ask you to consider making a donation to the Broadway Lodge Music Therapy Program – mum was passionate about music and this would mean a great deal to her memory.
